I'll try my best to make this post short and sweet and not draggy because i want you guys to go and explore this place one day! Let's go!
A picture with my family and cousins. |
As you enter, you will definitely visit the Maritime Museum first. This is the museum where they tell everything about the past. How villagers export and import goods using ships and how pirates came and more. The museum/exhibition is separated into four parts. The Chinese with Pirates, Malay with their traditions, Indians with displays of their spices and also the Japanese and Eurasians.
I didn't bother to read about the history of every single thing that is on display there but from the pictures above you can see that all of the things that happened before B.C. The museum/exhibition is almost the same like the Peranakan Museum but this is slightly better because of the new technology where you'll be brought back to this moment in one the theatre called the Typhoon theatre which i didn't go because you have to pay $10 individually. The statues there is all made of wax, its like Madame Tussaud but a different version.
A picture of me with a small guy dressed up in malay traditional clothes. |
Familiar with this? All spices from India! |
SEA AQUARIUM/OCEANIUM -
I've been to the Underwater World also in Sentosa but let me tell you this, when i stepped into the aquarium exhibition, i was really shocked to see all this beautiful fishes around this aquarium. It's like an eye opener for you to see how good and great god's creation is! I felt like i stepped into another world, just like being one of the Disney princess, Ariel.
You can see different types of fishes and creatures in different parts of the aquarium. Like you know the famous fish from Nemo movie, Clown fish, you can easily find them near the entrance area. They're so cute. Lol, i just find this funny. All this creatures have beautiful place to live in. Like its decorated nicely. It's like "why can't we have a beautiful house like them too?" haha. Just a random thought that came to my mind while i was walking around the museum.
This picture really reminds me of Patrick, Spongebob's best friend!!! |
A shot of me with my fish eye lens. Testing out if its okay! *giggles*
Looking at all this creatures really makes me think that i'm visiting Ariel under the deep Pacific Ocean. Lol!
Can you guess what i did next at Sentosa?
I went to the Beach area and go on a ride on the skyride and the luge with my family! My mum, aunt and cousins! I didn't bring my camera up to the sky ride because i was afraid that my camera will fall into the "jungles" of Sentosa Island so i just took photos of the scenery from the top using my phone but apparently i'm just too lazy to upload it here! I think the price for the Luge activity is a reasonable price. $12.50 per person is just nice for a sky ride to the top and luge from top to bottom.
The next activity that i would like to try when i visit Sentosa again will be of course visiting Universal Studios and.....i really want to try the iFly Singapore so badly! Sky Diving in Singapore? You can't find it anywhere but there! Looks like i have to save up my money for a ride on the iFly Singapore. Well, unless someone or anyone wants to sponsor me... hahah, i'm just joking!
So, what are you waiting for? Nothing to do on weekends? Bring your family down to Resorts World Sentosa and visit all this attractions! Have a blast!
