Medium Ash Brown Hair

After a long long long period of time with dark brown/black hair, I finally decided to change up my hair color once again. The last time i had crazy colors on my hair was during my school holidays last year. Since i ended school earlier this month, i have actually planned to color dark royal blue to my hair but my mum didn't allow me to do so. I took some time to search around the internet for colors that are suitable for my hair and i finally found the color that will go well!


Medium Ash Brown.

I'm on a budget this month because it's the school holidays and i will need money if i were to go out with my friends so i decided to buy the normal Revlon Hair Dye that is available at any drugstore. Thank god i found the color that i wanted. The last time i dyed my hair Alphine Green, i didn't bleach it properly so the color didn't came out that much so i learnt my lesson and i make sure that i bleach it properly this time and here's the process of bleaching my hair.

I've never EVER seen myself having such bright color on my hair so i was a bit in shock when the color came out. My mum saw it too and she said that i look like a witch. I blow dried my hair so that i could start dyeing my hair to the color that i wanted. I'm using Revlon's Medium Ash Brown in number 40. 

Yes, $4.50 only so cheap! 

I waited for 30 minutes for the color to set and washed it off. Blow dried my hair again and here's the final results. I ended everything at 2AM last night, haha. 

This was taken today. The color was more visible indoors and also under the sunlight. 

I am loving my new hair color and i'm planning to re-dye it again once i start to see black roots and keep on re-dye it over and over again till i get bored of it. Now, what i can hope for is that, my attachment place will allow me to have colors on my hair. *prays hard*

Healthy Haircare Routine

Everyone in this world would love to have a healthy hair where everything falls into place. Especially girls. They like it when their hair falls back into place even after 123456789 times of flipping them! And one of those girls is, me. 

I'm having a short hair right now but i just had to chop it off, recently! My hair can never look neat after showering.  I started to realize how important it is to have a good haircare routine. So after i chop off my hair at my favorite salon, i decided to go to the beauty store to grab some haircare products that is suitable for me! 

From Left: Follow Me Rebonding Hair Cream (to apply it on my hair after i finish showering as the oil of the product will absorb into the strands of my hair and won't make it look too dry!) 

Sunsilk Smooth & Manageable Leave On Conditioner (apply after the hair cream to have that smooth and manageable hair. I usually bring them out to school just in case my hair decides to get messy.) 

L'Oreal Studio Hot Straight Heat Spray (i'll only spray this  before i straighten my hair as this will protect my hair from heat damage) 

Spritz Finishing Spray (to be sprayed after curling or straightening of hair. Ensure that the hair stays hold through out the day.) 

All the products that i've listed on top is what i'm currently applying to my hair right now and just a reminder, everyone has different types of hair. So you have to find the suitable products to be applied to my hair. It takes time but you'll get there one day. 

The best way of having a health hair is:

• Cut the ends off every 3-6 months as this will lower the chances of having split-ends. 

• Cut down on the amount of chemicals applied onto your scalp and it will damage the cells. 

• Find good products for your hair. Take your time to do it. 

• Love your hair like how you love yourself! 

What i've shared above is part of my haircare routine. I hope this will help those of you who are searching for hair products to tame your hair. If you like to find other good, branded hair products, feel free to do so as this is just a guide for you readers out there.

New Buys for the month of August

As usual, every month, i will always invest on new products to try out and do reviews about it! This month, i spent on some good hair-care products because it has come to my attention that my hair gets really dry and that's the reason why i had to cut it and give it some treatment! 

My hairstylist from Cut & Curl Hair Salon told me that my hair is dry and thats the reason why my hair just can't be tamed anymore. I decided to invest my money on some good hair-care products which i'm going to do a review soon...maybe the next post? 

But today, i'm just gonna focus on the new make-up products that i bought for the month of August!

I invested a lot on make ups this month and my mum's already nagging about it but who cares! I love make ups!

I like to buy almost all my make ups there because everything is selling at very cheap prices compared to market price! I wanted to try the NYX Stay Matte But Not Flat foundation for quite sometime already and i finally got it now! Can't wait to try it on! I never had a face primer before so this NYX Photo Friendly Primer is my first face primer ever! I have the Coastal Scents Pallete but the reason why i bought  the NYX Natural Pallete is because whenever i go out,  i don't have any eyeshadow pallete to fill up my brows after i get all sweaty and gross! 

But yeah, i'm currently in love with products from Essence, NYX, ELF and i'm currently saving up to buy the "The Balm" eyeshadow pallete or maybe blusher! Let's take it step by step towards beauty!

Review on: Neutrogena Deep Cleanse Facial Cleanser & L'Oreal Hydrafresh Moisturizer

Still remember my previous post about some new facial products that i've bought a few weeks back? If you still remember about that post, then today is your lucky day because i'm going to do a review on it! 

First up will be the review on - Neutrogena Deep Cleanse Facial Cleanser 

A month ago, i was still using my ultimate favourite Cetaphil Facial cleanser, but as soon as i found out that it makes my skin too dry,i decided to give my skin some change in the face products, so i bought the Neutrogena Deep Cleanse Facial Cleanser. 

"Sometimes, i tend to get lazy to take out my cotton pads and make up remover to remove my make up on my face, that's the thing about me."

This facial cleanser has came to rescue my laziness in removing make up! The good thing about this facial cleanser, it cleanses everything! Oil and dirts that are hidden in the pores will be removed! Not only that, it also helps me to get rid of all my make up that i've put on for the whole day! It does leave some stains of mascara and eye liner but it definitely removes all the thick layer of foundation and eye shadows away! It's like doing two things at one go! I'm loving this cleanser so much!

L'Oreal Hydrafresh Aqua Gel Moisturizer 

I use to like those creamy textures for my face moisturizer but i found out that it gets greasy at times and also makes my face so oily so here's my new baby for my skin! 
The thing that i like about this moisturizer is that the texture is like water but gel at the same time! Funny isn't it? But it really is! I apply this moisturizer every morning before putting on any make up! It gives my skin a dewy look and also makes my skin feel refreshed! Ahhh, all i can do right now is to recommend you people out there to get this stuff! Here's a little secret i have to share if you're going or planning to buy this product.

"Get this product at stores like Venus, Beaute Spring or Beauty Language. They're selling these products at lower cost than all those shops like Watsons or Guardian. Trust me, it's going to cost you lesser if you buy it from those retail store like Venus,etc. Pay less + Good products = GOOD SKIN!"

Hello, i'm trying my best to say hello in all languages. Haha. Anyway, back with another post today! 

Face products for the month of July! 

Based on my previous posts, i've said that i'm trying out a lot of new face products right? Well, most of them are working well for me. But in today's post, i'm gonna share to you guys on the thigs that i bought...today for me to actually use for the month of August. 

My facial cleanser, Cetaphil is all gone now and i'm not planning to buy another bottle of it because i'm thinking of trying out a new facial cleanser "Neutrogena" i needed a chance cause i found out that the Cetaphil facial cleanser did not remove all the dirts on my face so i'm giving something else a try. 

I'm also trying out a new moisturizer for my face. I'm currently using Nivea's Soft Face, Body and Hands moisturizing cream right now but as days goes by, i found out that the texture of the cream is too greasy for my face and it gets a little bit oily sometimes so i came across this moiturizing cream, its the L'Oreal Hydrafresh moisturizing cream and the good thing about this is, the texture of the product is like a aqua-gel texture. So it's like water consistency! 

As many of you may not know this, but i am currently working part-time at a kids beach club and i'm always deployed as the lifeguard and all i have do is guard the boatswain area! What does it means? 

Beach + pool + boat = UNDER THE SUN! My skins will really beg me so much if i don't feed them good stuff! 

I tried being under the sun WITHOUT putting on sunscreen and hell no, it isn't a great idea and i regretted it a lot! I have uneven tanlines right now and all this is because of my rashguard that is in shorg sleeves! I regretted not getting the long sleeves and look, i have to live with uneven tanlines! Ugh. 

I also bought a sunscreen for my poor unever tanline skin! So i will put it everytime i'm doing lifeguard duty! 

To sum up today's post, here's some picture of what i bought today!

Review: Freeman Facial Purifying Clay Mask

Review on Freeman's Facial Purifying Clay Mask in Acai flavor. 

(I'm actually blogging this with the mask on my face right now, hehe)

In my previous post, i've said that i bought a mask from Freeman right? Today, i bought it again with my mum. I have two different mask right now. One is in the Peel Off Cucumber Mask & Acai Clay Mask. 

I've tried the peel off mask and i'm really amazed by the fact that the mask really cools, tighten, lightened and removes dirt from my face. 

"A peel off mask is known for getting the oil and dirt away from the face, hence, lighten and also tighten up all those visible pores!" 

I'm really satisfied with it that i bought another one today and actually using it right now. 

This clay mask really helps to make my skin feels firmer! The moment i apply in on my face, i could already feel the tingling sensation! 

As instructed, for better results, apply this mask 3 to 4 times a week! Since i have two different mask, i'm gonna change it every single week! This mask not only helps to cleanse, it also helps to freshen and lighten up our faces! 

Sidenote, i went out today to get my hair products because my hairfall is getting from bad to worst! So i'm currently using this product called "V'tane Pro-System" for my hair and i'll do a review as soon as i see improvements to my hair!

I just bought a few new skincare and body care products today. Like i say in my previous post, i am constantly trying to improve my complexion and also trying more products for my face...

• Freeman Facial PEEL OFF mask in cucumber
• St.Ives Naturally Clear Apricot Scrub

I bought this two products at different shops. I wanted to buy it at Watsons but the prices are way too expensive for a facial scrub and a peel off mask. For the mask, it is said that it will help to reduce oily face and also minimize pores. 

DID YOU KNOW?

A peel off mask is good for people who have oily skin. The effects of a peeling mask will help to bring all the dirt and oil out of your skin and pores and it will help to minimize oily skin...It also smooth the skin out and keep it soft! 

You can get the facial mask and Apricot scrub at any local drug store like "Beauty Essential or Venus" 

Body Care

Yes, this is my second tub of the Strawberry Body Butter from The Body Shop! I've been loving this body butter since i was 16! My mum bought it for me last two days when we're shopping around Tampines Mall. I wanted to get the Passionfruit perfume too but i don't think so. Haha.

I will try this products and will do a review on this products soon ok?

Everyday Make Up Routine

I did a post on my "SKINCARE ROUTINE" yesterday, remember? In today's post, I will be posting about my...

EVERYDAY MAKE UP ROUTINE! 

I'm really excited to share it with all of you! Just some reminder that i have to let all of you know."This make up routine is a simple and light make up that i apply everyday to school or whenever i go out to run some errands with my family. For those of you who likes to apply light make up, i really hope this post helps!"

Let's get started! 

These are the products that I'm using.

- Biore UV Aqua Rich Sunscreen SPF 50+

- Maybelline Mineral BB Watergel in shade "Natural"

- ELF Tone Correcting Concealer

- Essence "GET BIG LASHES" Mascara

- Daiso Eyeshadow Pallete 

- Essence Silky Touch Blush in shade "Soft Pink" 

- ELF Highlighter 

- M.A.C Blusher in shade "Sheertone Shimmer Blush"

- USHAS Eyeliner (from Bangkok) 

First and the most important thing after applying my moisturizer, i will apply my suncreen! Sunscreen helps protect your skin from harmful sun rays. Try to get sunscreen that has a high SPF because it will protect your skin more! 

I got this small tube of sunscreen from the local drugstore, "Watsons" it was under promotion so i had to get it cause it's selling at $2. I just tried this product for a few days and I'm already loving it! "Biore products is really amazing and i cannot resist them!" The texture of this product is so smooth and watery type. It looks like a cream when it is squeezed out but when you apply in on your face, it feels like it's just water! 

After my sunscreen has absorbed into my skin, the next thing that i will apply is my favorite BB cream ever! Maybelline has come up with a new BB cream that is in a watergel type. It is not greasy like any other BB cream that I've ever tried before and it absorbed into my skin in just a few seconds! "Maybelline is also my favorite product to use whenever it comes to make-up. You can never go wrong with Maybelline!" 

This is a Tone Correcting Concealer from ELF. I got this from www.shopping-district.net for only $6.50. I've been using this for a quite sometime now but as a tone correcting concealer, i thought it will cover up all my eyebags, dark circles, blemishes and pimple with just one or two time of application but it didn't. I have to apply this concealer for a few times till it covers up my "dirt" on my face. HAHA! I'm going to buy the Tone Correcting Concealer that comes with six different shades once I finish this tube of concealer. 

I am not using any branded pressed face powder. I am using this pressed powder from this brand called "Pixy" This powder is quite popular in my country now and it's suitable for all teenagers like me. (I didn't manage to get a nice shot of the powder cause it has a hole in the middle..because its going to finish soon :P) But if you guys wanna know more about this Pixy powder, please just Google it! Its a two-way cake powder foundation and it doesn't make my face look cake-y whenever i apply it on my face after foundation and concealer. 

"I know i know,some people reading this will say something like "she already put on foundation and concealer and now she's putting on a two way cake powder foundation? That's too much!" 

"Well, this is my way of getting a flawless and smooth complexion! Because, I believe that if i have a smooth complexion and smooth finish, everything else applied on my face will fall into place!" 

For my eye make up, I'm using this cheap eye shadow pallete from "Daiso" Some of you must be wondering                          "Does Daiso product works?" 

Yes, it works for me! All the colors suits my skin tone! Well, i only use this when i go to school or just going out on a simple outing with my family and friends. But if i'm going down to town or anywhere far, i will apply my eye make up using my "Coastal Scent 88 Eye Shadow Pallete in Warm Colors." I like to have that deep set eyes effect for my eyes so that's the reason why i need more make up to put some drama up to my eyes! 

The next four products that i use to complete my "simple and light" everyday make up is all in one pictures! I don't want you guys to think that this post is too draggy, haha.

For my lashes, I am using this mascara from "Essence" and I love it so much! It depends on what type of mascara you choose from this brand. It comes in different types of mascara. From "GET BIG LASHES", "VOLUME CURLS" and more, you can choose them to your liking! I've been loving the ones in "GET BIG LASHES" and this is already my second bottle! 

To give my eyes a more dramatic look, i will add on a little eyeliner on my lash line and also around my waterline to enhance my big eyes more! I got that eyeliner from Bangkok but don't worry, you can use any eyeliner to get this simple everyday look! 

Last but not least, I will apply some color to my cheeks to give me that rose-y blush wherever i go! I currently have two favorite blush! One from Essence and another one from M.A.C. I will keep on changing my cheek color everyday depending on my mood. 

Add some highlighter to bring up my cheekbone and a pop of a light lipstick colour and...

WALLA! I'm done!

Skincare Routine

Do any of you have oily skin or dry skin? I'm pretty sure everyone has one of them or even worst, BOTH! In today's post, i'm going to share with you my "SKINCARE ROUTINE." 

I started to have dry skin when i'm 14 years old. I didn't apply a lot of make-up at that age but some light make up whenever i go out. Many people have been telling me to start taking care of my skin at that time so i decided to wash and cleanse my face every morning and night or whenever i bathe. Then, i started to realize that my nose area is getting dry that it makes it look like as if it got sun burnt when its actually not! I stopped using the facial wash everyday and only use it during the night time! 

As days got by, I started to apply more make up and there was one time that i applied too much make up till my face got too oily and i was really upset about that. My friends have been telling me that i have a oily skin. Well, at first it was a normal "oily skin" then as time goes by, i realized that maybe it's because i didn't apply any moisturizer or any other face products before putting on make up and thats the reason why my skin is exposed to make-up a lot till it got too oily! 

I tried a lot of face wash but it didn't really work on my skin. After trying several face wash, i finally found the face wash that is suitable for my face! It is the....

CETAPHIL DAILY FACIAL CLEANSER

I've been using it for a year now and it's really amazing! No matter how many times i wash my face everyday, it doesn't make my skin dry and it removes everything off! Oil and dirt from all those make-up i apply! The best thing, is it suitable for Normal Skin to Oily Skin! So if you have a normal, dry or oily skin, i recommend you to use this product because its really beyond amazing! The texture is so smooth that whenever i apply it on my face, it feels like as if i'm putting egg white on my face! So smooth like a baby's skin! 

Before applying make up, i will apply these babies on my face! 

Products: Nivea Daily Essentials Refreshing Toner

Nivea Daily Essentials Cleansing Lotion

Nivea Soft Refreshingly Soft Moisturising Cream

Those are the products that i apply on my skin before putting on make up. I finally found the products that is suitable for my skin! 

First, I will apply the Cleansing lotion. With a cotton pad, i will apply it on my skin to remove excess dirt that didn't get washed away during the cleansing session in the bathroom! After my skin has absorbed the lotion, i will then apply the Refreshing Toner all over my face with a cotton pad! On days where i have really BAD eye bags, i will soak the cotton pad, stretch it out and put it under my eyes so that my it will freshen up my eyes and also wake me up to get myself ready to go to school!(oh, toner will also help you to close up the open pores after bathing.) 

After getting fresh with the cleansing lotion and toner, I will apply the moisturizer on my face! The good thing about this moisturizer is that it can be applied to the face, body and hands! 3 in 1! Amazing isn't it? Once the moisturizer has absorbed into my skin, i will then start to apply make up! 

I've been constantly using this products and i'm really satisfied with it! It really works on my skin! It doesn't get my face oily, dry or even worst, both at one go! I hope to keep on using these products and will keep on finding more products to make my skin better!

What's in my make up bag?

It's finally Friday! Since it's Friday the 13th, I think i have i'm gonna blog about something that all girls like! I'm gonna blog about..."WHAT'S IN MY MAKE UP BAG?" Well, i wanted to do a video instead but i'm currently down with a flu and cough. Let's start! As all of you know, make up is essential for all girls all around the world. Some girls are born with natural flawless skin and they don't even need to apply make up at all! But for me, here's what i have...

Before i start putting on any make up, i will use my favorite pimple gel (only if i have pimples on my face). It is the Clean & Clear Active Clear speed clearing gel.

This will be the first product that i use before i apply anything. I don't usually put on moisturizer on my face(this is a bad habit) YOU HAVE TO PUT MOISTURIZER before you put on make up because your skin will get dry! The reason why i don't fancy putting on moisturizer is because i just feel that my face will become so sticky feeling because i'm sweat all the time!

Next will be my foundation. I don't use concealer at all because foundation really works well for me to cover my flaws. If i were to use concealer and foundation, my face will look so plastic, just like barbie dolls and i don't want that to happen. I know most of you want those matte look on your face but for me, i look best with natural make up and not thick make up. Here's my foundation. 

I'm currently using "Silkygirl Skin Perfect Liquid Foundation." To be honest, this is not the best foundation for me because it doesn't stay for a very long time but since i'm not wearing make up every single day, this should be fine for now. I use this foundation as my concealer too so its like 2 in 1 concealer/foundation. 

After i apply my foundation, i will apply face powder and i'm using...

M.A.C Pro Preferred White SOE 15 Matte Foundation powder. See the reason why i don't like to put on so much foundation is because this powder will help to make my face look matte. So it's like balancing both of them well. Great job to myself. Lol. (This powder is gift from my mum) so it's quite special. 

For my eyebrows, i'm using this eyebrow pencil which doesn't have a brand because apparently it's from Japan and i can't read in Japan so i call it as "no brand" eyebrow pencil. I'm glad that i was born with a nice eyebrow so i don't thread my eyebrows before and i will never will. Just a simple outline for my brows will be enough for me. Like i said earlier on, i'm more to natural make up so for my eye shadow i'm using two products.

 Here comes my favourite part! Eyeliners and Mascara! I have a lot of eyeliners and mascaras but these are my favourites!

All of these eyeliners and mascaras give the magic to my eyes! I have big eyes but i still put on all this give illusion of even LARGER looking eyes. The brands are "Silky Girl Long-wearing eyeliner, Rhomlon Liquid Eyeliner Maybelline Eyestudio white eyeliner( i don't put this all the time. Only when i look tired.) 

To speed things up, the next few pictures will be my blushers and lipstick. Both of them are from L.A Colors and it's great! 

It's all pretty in pink! I love pink so much! So as a conclusion, here's all the stuff that i have in my make up bag.

Trying out new stuff : Essence Make Up Eyeshadow & Silky Girl

Hi everyone! I'm back with a second post! As promised, if i have something good up my sleeves, i'll definitely update it on my blog! There's some stuff that i would like to share with all of you today.

I decided to try out some new stuff today. I bought a new eye shadow palette from Essence under the tone of matte and it's called 'Sun Club' here's how it look!

I got that picture from bonnyworld.net because i don't have the time to take the pictures of the stuff that i bought! Maybe it's not that i don't have time, maybe it's because i'm lazy! Opps! Mind me. I've yet to try it out but i'm definitely gonna try it out soon when i'm going out! Planning to do some soft look to the eyes cause it's summer now (well,it's summer everyday in Singapore but i just feel like i'm in America enjoying the summer season) Definitely will take a picture once i try it on! The second stuff that i bought is a Silky Girl pencil eyeliner. 

I'm still using the Rhomlon Liquid Eyeliner but i just think that i need to buy a pencil eyeliner because whenever i apply the liquid eyeliner to my waterline, it tends to get smudged and some of the eyeliner will get into my eyes and the feeling is horrible because i'm wearing contact lenses. So maybe i should try using a pencil eyeliner. I once used this 'Silky Girl Eyeliner' back then when i was in Primary 6. So it's like four years ago (: let's try that out soon! Also, i bought myself a t-shirt today! Will upload a picture of it soon! 

Hmm... I realize that i've been blogging about stuffs like fashion, celebrities, make-up and all sorts of entertainment stuff. Maybe i should blog about school stuff one day. Yeah, maybe i should! I can blog about the school work that the teachers give, school life, peers and all other stuff that is happening in school for me.

Hairstyle for teenagers

I've always wanted a very beautiful hairstyle for myself. For the past 16 years on Earth, i just think that i never ever had a nice hairstyle for myself. When i look into the magazines and pictures of celebrities, singers and actress, i just wished that i have all those kind of looks like them. I always wonder and ask myself all sorts of questions. "What if i have this hairstyle like Taylor Swift? Will it look nice on me?" "What if i cut my hair like Selena Gomez and put some purple highlights at the end?" but let me tell you something, i have one thing about myself that i just find it a reason for people to make fun of me and it is my eyes. I have big eyes. Sometimes i just wish that i have a flawless skin, beautiful face features and a natural beautiful hairstyle.

For me, as a 16 years old girl, beauty is my number one priority. I must look good from young! This is from my point of view, i don't know about you my readers. I just wish that i have millions of bucks in my pocket so that i can travel the world and find a good hairstylist and ask him or her to do a good makeover for myself.

So i just want to ask for some opinions from some of you regarding hairstyle for teenagers. What'cha think? Do comment!
