Hari Raya Celebration with Friends

Hey guys.

This post was supposed to be posted up on early Monday morning but there's something wrong with my Blogger's app on my Iphone so that's the reason why this post is kind of delayed for a day, ha-ha. In case all of you don't believe what i'm trying to say here, let me show you a screenshot of it.

I'm not sure why i can't publish this post but that's not the point for today's post!

Last Sunday,
I got to hang out with my college friends to go out and visit for Hari Raya! We travelled from the Eastern side of Singapore, Western side of Singapore, Central and finally back to Northern part of Singapore. Its really hard for us to travel around cause we don't have any transportation...SO NEXT YEAR, WE NEED TO BOOK A BUS! Anyway, i don't have much things to say for today's post but let's just let the picture do the talking...

Don't you guys think i look like i'm in a wedding dress? Haha.

How To Make: Home-made Frozen Yogurt with toppings!

What's up my daily readers?

In today's post, i'll be sharing with you guys on HOW TO MAKE FROZEN YOGHURT WITH TOPPINGS AT HOME! I'm so excited to share with all of you my way of having a frozen yoghurt at home!

I'll be sharing with you guys on how to make frozen yoghurt with strawberries, blueberry cereal and fruity pebbles!

THINGS YOU NEED:
- 1 Small Bowl
-1 Tablespoon
-1 Cup/Serving of Natural or Low Fat Yogurt
-Strawberries (1 container)
-Blueberry Cereal (i'm using the 'Post' Brand)
- Fruity Pebbles Cereal

STEP 1:  The most important step to achieve your home-made frozen yoghurt. Put your Yoghurt into the freezer for a few hours. You must put it into a freezer and not just the frigde area cause the temperature will not get the yoghurt to freeze up that fast.

STEP 2:  After a few hours of putting the yoghurt in the freezer, take it out and leave it at room temperature. Leave the yoghurt to thaw out while you get the things and ingredients ready.

STEP 3:
After you prepare all the ingredients, take your yoghurt and the small bowl. Pour all the yoghurt out into the cup like this.

STEP 4:  Get your ingredients in! I'm using strawberries here and i like strawberries to be big! If you like your strawberries to be in smaller pieces, go ahead and cut them!
Strawberries taking a dip in the yoghurt pool!

STEP 5, 6 & 7:  After putting your strawberries in, time put in the blueberry cereal and fruity pebbles in!

Pour some blueberry cereal and some fruity pebbles into your yoghurt and there you have it!

HOME MADE FROZEN YOGURT
with Strawberries, Blueberry Cereal and
fruity pebbles!

You can substitute the ingredients to something else like marshmellows, Oreo cookies, etc! According to your likings!

Sick and tired of always eating Western Food or Fast Food? Craving for something traditional or local from other country but you are still in Singapore? Head your way down to Penang Culture @ Century Square, Tampines. I just did it today with my mum and sister to have our late lunch and early dinner there!

I've never been to Penang before but i know about the famous and local food that you can find while you're at Penang. Penang Culture offers a variety of famous local Penang food such as the 'Asam Laksa Noodles,' 'Tom Yum Noodles' 'Stingray with spices' 'Squid with spices', their special desserts like 'Penang Chendol' 'Ice kacang Penang' and more! You just have to head down to try the food yourself!

Mum's Asam Laksa tastes soooooo effing good and i'm definitely gonna get those when i visit Penang Culture next time! I ended up eating two meals because my sister didn't finish up her Rice with Nuggets so i feel fat right now, haha. BUT! Anything for food cause food is my BEST FRIEND!

After we had our delicious early dinner, we head down to Tampines One and went to Uniqlo (because mum told me that there was a sale), Cold Storage (to get my fresh Strawberries and Yogurt) and lastly, Guardian cause we are running out of facial mask so we had to buy it! I got these babies to apply on to my face tonight! Happy girl is me!

Outdoor/Streetstyle Photoshoot By Eddie Razak

Remember when i said i have something amazing to blog when the pictures are ready? Yes! This post will be about the Outdoor/Streetstyle Photoshoot that i had a few weeks ago!

STREET STYLE PHOTOSHOOT
PICTURES BY: EDDIE RAZAK PICTUREWERKZ
EDITED BY: EDDIE RAZAK

I'm only going to upload the edited and some of the original pictures by Eddie because if i were to post all 300 pictures, you guys will get bored of looking at it!

I chose my friend, Farysha to be part of this photo shoot because i know she's not afraid to pose in front of the camera and give the best shot! It was my first time doing a photo shoot so i wasn't sure on what i'm supposed to do or pose but no worries....

When we met the photographer, Eddie, he told us to calm down and he will try his best to guide us through the photo shoot and he really did! The both of us felt really comfortable working with Eddie. We started off feeling a little bit camera-shy because it was our first time posing for a camera with a cameraman and its also considered as a professional outdoor photo shoot but as soon as more shots were taken, the both of us started to get the hang of posing for the camera and look at all the amazing pictures taken by Eddie!

We had our photo shoot in the afternoon and what's worst? It was during the fasting month but...the three of us decided to break our fast in the afternoon, haha. We had our shots taken at Gardens By The Bay and Marina Bay Sands. While we're making our way down to Marina Square, Eddie also took some shots of us at the Helix Bridge! Eddie's so kind!

So guys, are you looking for a photographer to take amazing pictures of you? Since you've already see the pictures here, if you're looking for one, you can contact Eddie at 9005 0348 to book with him! I had my photo shoot for only $50/person because of the packages that are available and made by Eddie. So try check him out!

Hope this post helps!

The Conjuring Review

Hey guys guess what, guess what? I teamed up with my bravery and dared myself to watch "THE CONJURING" today after school with one of my cousin (she also has a blog, so please read hers! Its at my sidebar

We booked our tickets online and decided to watch it at E-Hub Downtown East. We took the 5pm slot because i end school at 3pm and since my school is located at the west area, it will take me around one hour to actually reach Downtown East. The day before, we planned to have late lunch at Hei Sushi and we did! I tried some new sushi's like the Fish Roe, Half-cooked Octopus, Spicy Tuna and also some Sashimi. It was my first time trying the fish roe and hmm, i kind of love it!

Many have said about the warnings given by the production crew about how this movie will bring hallucination to those who have weak hearts. Personally, i don't actually believe in Hollywood ghost. The reason is because...YOU CANT FIND A LIVING ZOMBIE ON THIS EARTH! Excuse me, i'm not trying to criticize about how hollywood makes their ghost look fake but trust me...when i watched this movie, it scared the crap out of me!

I tried to compare this movie to Exorcism, Possesion and Sinister, i think, this movie has the best possesion session ever in all of the horror movies i've ever watched in my entire life! This movie is based on a true story. Though some parts didn't make sense, i still think that this is the most scariest possesion/exorcism/horror movie i've ever watched!

Don't believe it? Book your tickets online now and head down to the cinema and experience it yourself. I can't say much about this movie, you have to watch it yourself!

Just one serious note, "dont ever play Hide & Clap

Ratings for this movie: 9/10

Review on: Neutrogena Deep Cleanse Facial Cleanser & L'Oreal Hydrafresh Moisturizer

Still remember my previous post about some new facial products that i've bought a few weeks back? If you still remember about that post, then today is your lucky day because i'm going to do a review on it!

First up will be the review on - Neutrogena Deep Cleanse Facial Cleanser

A month ago, i was still using my ultimate favourite Cetaphil Facial cleanser, but as soon as i found out that it makes my skin too dry,i decided to give my skin some change in the face products, so i bought the Neutrogena Deep Cleanse Facial Cleanser

"Sometimes, i tend to get lazy to take out my cotton pads and make up remover to remove my make up on my face, that's the thing about me."

This facial cleanser has came to rescue my laziness in removing make up! The good thing about this facial cleanser, it cleanses everything! Oil and dirts that are hidden in the pores will be removed! Not only that, it also helps me to get rid of all my make up that i've put on for the whole day! It does leave some stains of mascara and eye liner but it definitely removes all the thick layer of foundation and eye shadows away! It's like doing two things at one go! I'm loving this cleanser so much!

Next,

L'Oreal Hydrafresh Aqua Gel Moisturizer

I use to like those creamy textures for my face moisturizer but i found out that it gets greasy at times and also makes my face so oily so here's my new baby for my skin!
The thing that i like about this moisturizer is that the texture is like water but gel at the same time! Funny isn't it? But it really is! I apply this moisturizer every morning before putting on any make up! It gives my skin a dewy look and also makes my skin feel refreshed! Ahhh, all i can do right now is to recommend you people out there to get this stuff! Here's a little secret i have to share if you're going or planning to buy this product.

"Get this product at stores like Venus, Beaute Spring or Beauty Language. They're selling these products at lower cost than all those shops like Watsons or Guardian. Trust me, it's going to cost you lesser if you buy it from those retail store like Venus, etc. Pay less + Good products = GOOD SKIN!"

Hope this post helps!

Salam Aidilfitri 2013

Salam Aidilfitri to all my muslim readers all around the world or in Singapore!

Today, all muslims in Singapore, Malaysia and as far as many country that i know, celebrated Hari Raya. Hari Raya is a day where we spend time with our family, relatives and friends. We make a visit to their home, have a delicious meal together, hang around to share stories and finally ask for forgiveness for whatever we've done all this while to them. Basically, Hari Raya/Shawal is a month for us to celebrate after fasting during the month of Ramadhan.

I'm glad that this year, i'm still able to celebrate with my family members again. I just hope that i'm able to celebrate with them more in the many years to come. If God's wiling.

Hari Raya won't be complete if there's no home-made cookies, Tarts, Biscuits and also Crackers. Not forgetting the delicious home-made Lontong, Serunding(Chicken/Beef Floss), Squids and much more food that will bring the raya mood up more!

I'm staying with my grandma so every year, without fail, my cousins and relatives are the ones who will come to visit my house and i don't usually go out on first day of shawal since everyone comes to visit my home. I'm hoping to go out soon, like on the second or third day of shawal.

I had a splendid day one of shawal today and hoping for much more fun as soon as possible. Hehe, to end this post, here's a family potrait for Hari Raya 2013.
