Another Stay-Home Friday

(Blogging with my face mask on, cause its a stay-home Friday today) yes, its a school holiday because its Teachers Day! If you're a teacher, i wish you a Happy Teachers Day. 

Basically, i spent the whole day catching up with my sleep since i slept at 4am last night because i was busy entertaining some Whatsapp messages, Tweeting, Instagramming and going to my other social networking sites.

After i came back from having lunch, i spend a few minutes on the laptop and i fell asleep till evening and i was late so i didn't follow my mum to a wedding solemnization.  

Sooooo, i'm just blogging cause i feel like i want to do so since its a rainy and cold day today so yeap! Thats it i guess? Will find something to blog about soon! xx

How To Make: Marshmellows With Fruity Pebbles

Hi once again with another post on How To. It's currently 12:06am on a Friday and i'm blogging because i don't have school tomorrow. 

My team mates, gathered up and did a meeting in school on what we have to do for our fund-raising project for one of our subjects that we're taking in school. We decided to bake marshmellows with fruity pebbles for our fund-raising project. 

And for that, i'm gonna teach you how to make marshmellows with fruity pebbles! I love fruity pebbles so much! 

I didn't get the chance to take pictures during the process of making this because i'm busy stirring the chocolate mix in the kitchen, haha. 

First of all, you need marshmellows. Big marshmellows or tiny marshmellows, It all depends on you, how you want your marshmellows to be! You will also need a jar of Nutella or more (depending on how much you're making) and last but not least, FRUITY PEBBLES! 

This is actually a simple way of doing marshmellows with fruity pebbles. All you have to do is pour the nutella into the pot and start to do double-boiling. In case you don't know what double-boiling is, double-boiling is where you melt blocks of chocolate and other things just by using boiling water below the pot that has chocolate on. 

Stir the nutella till the texture gets thinner. Add water to melt it down faster. Do not put milk in it because nutella is already produced before hand with milk so just don't ever put milk in. 

While the chocolate is still in the syrup state, quickly dip in as many marshmellows as possible and make sure that it is coated properly. Take a stick, poke through the marshmellows and let the marshmellows roll over the fruity pebbles and then let it cool down on a baking tray. 

If you want your marshmellows to be cold, just throw it in the fridge for a few hours and let it thaw for 5-10 minutes before eating it to ensure that the freahness is sealed! 

And for that, this is the results of my marshmellows with fruity pebbles for my fund-raising project in school! 

This is just a simple way of making something sweet in a short period of time!

Healthy Haircare Routine

Everyone in this world would love to have a healthy hair where everything falls into place. Especially girls. They like it when their hair falls back into place even after 123456789 times of flipping them! And one of those girls is, me. 

I'm having a short hair right now but i just had to chop it off, recently! My hair can never look neat after showering.  I started to realize how important it is to have a good haircare routine. So after i chop off my hair at my favorite salon, i decided to go to the beauty store to grab some haircare products that is suitable for me! 

From Left: Follow Me Rebonding Hair Cream (to apply it on my hair after i finish showering as the oil of the product will absorb into the strands of my hair and won't make it look too dry!) 

Sunsilk Smooth & Manageable Leave On Conditioner (apply after the hair cream to have that smooth and manageable hair. I usually bring them out to school just in case my hair decides to get messy.) 

L'Oreal Studio Hot Straight Heat Spray (i'll only spray this  before i straighten my hair as this will protect my hair from heat damage) 

Spritz Finishing Spray (to be sprayed after curling or straightening of hair. Ensure that the hair stays hold through out the day.) 

All the products that i've listed on top is what i'm currently applying to my hair right now and just a reminder, everyone has different types of hair. So you have to find the suitable products to be applied to my hair. It takes time but you'll get there one day. 

The best way of having a health hair is:

• Cut the ends off every 3-6 months as this will lower the chances of having split-ends. 

• Cut down on the amount of chemicals applied onto your scalp and it will damage the cells. 

• Find good products for your hair. Take your time to do it. 

• Love your hair like how you love yourself! 

What i've shared above is part of my haircare routine. I hope this will help those of you who are searching for hair products to tame your hair. If you like to find other good, branded hair products, feel free to do so as this is just a guide for you readers out there.

If it hurts, it means that you still care.

I don't know what's bothering me past few days. I've been having sleepless night, wasted a lot of sighs, figuring out what is seriously bothering me. 

I just need this post to blog about what i feel tonight, i just can't help it anymore. I'm not trying to sound desperate in this post neither am i desperate in real-life. 

At this moment of time, almost all of my friends are having the time of their lifes having a partner right by their side but what about me? I'm still here all alone, not getting to feel what love is all about. What i'm trying to say is, i may look happy from my blog post, my life, my smiles but no one knows what kills me inside. 

A few months ago, i was with someone that is now a history in my life. I never thought he'd be someone whom i thought wouldn't be. He's the man of words but no actions. I just hate it when someone tries to console me with words but no actions is made at all. All promises made is just for the sake of saying. 

I'm pretty sure all girls out there has ever experienced a guy saying this to them "you'll be the last person i want to be in love with no matter what happens." But it turned out to be the other way round when everything's over between the both of you. It is so frustrating that this particular sentence will be stucked in my head forever. I just don't get it, i tried to get rid of this but i can't. 

It hurts so much to see myself in this state. Still thinking about what i've gone through. Yes true, i've moved on from my past but at some point of time, the memories will come back and i'll try my best to forget about it but i can't run away from the fact that this will be a permanent memory on my life. 

I just hate how guys can play around with words. I hate it so freaking much. 

Nobody will understand how i feel when i see all my friends being so happy having their partners right by their side. I had those moments before but i know, my instincts were right about it. That person that i used to be will find someone better than me. I'm not fit to be his Cinderella. 

I know, i may sound like a vain and evil lady, but every girl, every single one, will have a soft side in their heart. I may have said i moved on, but a part of me still cares its just that i'm fighting with that feeling against my happiness. I'm trying to make myself push all those feelings away slowly and make them vanish forever. 

Here goes a saying, "if it still hurts, means you still care." 

I personally think i've been so strong all this while. Just that tonight, i just can't take it anymore. I've promised myself that i'll keep myself strong in forgetting this and will try my best to forget about this, fully. 

If you're reading this, you know who you are, i wish you all the best in the future and i hope you'll find your true Cinderella one day. In order for me to find my happiness, i promise,  i'll try my very best to forget you. 

Let's hope for a better journey ahead of me.

Straights Time Ultimate Bieber Contest

GUYS! Read this post until the end alright? I have the most EXCITING news to tell you guys about! 

Last night, i was invited to attend a friend of mine's 18th birthday party @ Costa Sand Resort, Downtown East. The theme for the party is 'Black & White' so yours truly tried to find something to wear to the party but couldn't find anything that will match the theme so i didn't buy anything and decided to just wear what i have in my wardrobe. 

I don't even know what to buy for the birthday girl and in the end, i resorted for the most cheapest mug i've ever bought.  It is cute for a 18 years old girl i guess? Well that's not the point. I had to be home early because i'm working the next day but guess what guys...

If you're following me on my social networking sites, you'll come across some of my tweets, post, pictures saying that i entered a competition by The Straights Times. It was a contest to do some dedication to Justin Bieber and i ever intend to enter any contest until i saw this one. 

One week before the closing date for the entry, i decided to pick up my guitar and do a cover of Justin Bieber's famous hit, Baby and uploaded it to Youtube and submit my entry for that contest. 

My heart and mind had been constantly reminding me "you entered this to just try new things and see your luck. If you don't win anything, its alright." 

After i had my shower last night, i saw the tweet from "STcommunities" saying that the results for the Ultimate Bieber Contest is out and lets see the 30 winners who won the tickets to the Closing Concert on 23rd Of September. 

I knew that i'm not in the finalist list. So i scrolled down to see the 26 names that won the winning entry and suddenly i saw my name appeared on the list! NO WORDS COULD EXPLAIN HOW HAPPY I WAS AT THAT MOMENT!!! My "very last minute" cover turned out to be a dream come true moment for me! 

Yes guys! I won the tickets to see Justin Bieber LIVE @ The Padang during the Closing Concert of the Formula Grand Prix in September! I'm so stoked about it!  I would like to thank all of my supporters that tweeted, post, liked and voted for  my video. 

Its true guys, "NEVER SAY NEVER" & "DONT STOP DREAMING UNTIL YOUR DREAMS COMES TRUE"

New Buys for the month of August

As usual, every month, i will always invest on new products to try out and do reviews about it! This month, i spent on some good hair-care products because it has come to my attention that my hair gets really dry and that's the reason why i had to cut it and give it some treatment! 

My hairstylist from Cut & Curl Hair Salon told me that my hair is dry and thats the reason why my hair just can't be tamed anymore. I decided to invest my money on some good hair-care products which i'm going to do a review soon...maybe the next post? 

But today, i'm just gonna focus on the new make-up products that i bought for the month of August!

I invested a lot on make ups this month and my mum's already nagging about it but who cares! I love make ups!

I like to buy almost all my make ups there because everything is selling at very cheap prices compared to market price! I wanted to try the NYX Stay Matte But Not Flat foundation for quite sometime already and i finally got it now! Can't wait to try it on! I never had a face primer before so this NYX Photo Friendly Primer is my first face primer ever! I have the Coastal Scents Pallete but the reason why i bought  the NYX Natural Pallete is because whenever i go out,  i don't have any eyeshadow pallete to fill up my brows after i get all sweaty and gross! 

But yeah, i'm currently in love with products from Essence, NYX, ELF and i'm currently saving up to buy the "The Balm" eyeshadow pallete or maybe blusher! Let's take it step by step towards beauty!

Hari Raya Celebration with Friends

Hey guys.

This post was supposed to be posted up on early Monday morning but there's something wrong with my Blogger's app on my Iphone so that's the reason why this post is kind of delayed for a day, ha-ha. In case all of you don't believe what i'm trying to say here, let me show you a screenshot of it.

Last Sunday,
I got to hang out with my college friends to go out and visit for Hari Raya! We travelled from the Eastern side of Singapore, Western side of Singapore, Central and finally back to Northern part of Singapore. Its really hard for us to travel around cause we don't have any transportation...SO NEXT YEAR, WE NEED TO BOOK A BUS! Anyway, i don't have much things to say for today's post but let's just let the picture do the talking...

Don't you guys think i look like i'm in a wedding dress? Haha.
