Preparing for staycation

This week has indeed been a tiring week. Though it was not all about me, it was about my friends problem but i fell sick yesterday after visiting my new born niece, Shasmeen. I am now packing my things for my short stay cation at Changi Village Hotel, Singapore. As some of you may not know, I've been to this hotel before previously for my first stay cation in Singapore. This time round, i have more cousins coming along to join us for the stay cation. 

Hate how the weather keeps on changing every time  that causes everyone to fall sick one by one. One day its raining and another day, the sun is shining brightly. I fell sick badly this week but i'm slowly getting up back. Can't wait for tomorrow already and oh, my new born niece is so cute i seriously can't wait to see her when she's discharged from the hospital but...for now, i need to go get my stuff ready. Till then, to all my Chinese readers, have a blissful CHINESE NEW YEAR.

JUSTIN BIEBER BELIEVE MOVIE

                         

Managed to drag my mum and sister to watch 'BELIEVE' movie by Justin Bieber yesterday at Golden Village, Tampines. The movie was out on Christmas day in the U.S and U.K but it only went out on January 23rd here in Singapore. (Asian Belieber Problem) 

What else can i say about this movie? It is a definitely a good movie to watch and it's seriously worth $16. Thank god I'm a GV member if not, the tickets will be at $20 each. That's a bit pricey but still acceptable because this is a GV Exclusive Movie and it will up only for a week. I would like to watch it again but...i think i should just wait for the physical CD to be out and i will buy it.

I actually planned to watch it with my friends but none of them are interested in watching this because they're not a die hard fan of Justin Bieber. Unlike me, I would do anything that has got to do with Justin Bieber. I succeed in convincing my mum to come along and watch it with me. Before watching this movie, she will criticize Justin a lot and say that he's bad and all sorts of stuff but after watching this movie, I can see that she is somehow quite impressed with the movie. I asked her what she liked most about the movie and she said that she liked the music, choreography and the part where Justin runs away from the paps. Yes! I finally made my mum like Justin Bieber somehow *proud*

This movie teaches me a lot of things like be strong and fight for who you wanna be and stop thinking about what people say about you because at the end of the day, nothing is gonna change you. Justin is so strong is facing all the hate going around the world about him especially now, when he was caught by the police in Miami for drink-driving. Imagine yourself being judged by the WHOLE World. I can't imagine how it'll be if i'm the one who's being judged by the whole world. I can't even stand being judged now but this movie really made me realize to stick to who i am and what i wanna be and stop thinking about what people say. I still remember some parts when Justin said that people tend to forget that he is a human being. All these people just want to see you fall and that's the reason why you should keep your heads up. He learned from it.

People only see the bad things he did but never see the side where he do great things by giving back to the people, WORLDWIDE. He build schools for children in Guatemala and no one there knew about him and it was cool with him because it's not about him, it was about them. When Philippines was struck with Earthquake, he came down all the way from Australia upon completing his Believe Tour just to sing and donate $3 million to them but...most people don't see that. I won't drag this post any longer but this is just a great movie that i've watched so far in the year of 2014.

Food Review: Tomodachi Halal Japanese Dining

Yay to food reviews! I've not done any food reviews for quite sometime now but i'm back with one today. 

I had my dinner at Tomodachi Halal Japanese Dining tonight with my cousins and my mum. Initially, we planned to have dinner at Hei Sushi but my cousin said that there's a Japanese Restaurant at Whitesands Mall so we decided to try something new today. 

Instead of having a belt with sushi going around at the side of the table, when you dine at Tomodachi, you have to order and pay first before receiving the food. Here's what we ordered. 

I can't remember what we ordered but there's California Roll, Octopus, Sake, Sashimi, Tuna, Fish Roe, Marinated Shrimp, Tempura Sushi, Shrimp Salad, Potato Salad and a bowl of Tom Yum Soup with Noodles. 

The food was good, fresh and delicious but i still prefer Hei Sushi because there's a lot more choices of sushi to choose from compared to Tomodachi. 

After a heavy meal, we had desserts. We ordered the Rainbow and Red Velvet cake. 

There's nothing to rave about for the desserts. Taste as normal as a rainbow cake and the Red Velvet Cake is not rich as any other Red Velvet Cake. 

I'll rate this a 7/10. I will definitely come back and eat here again but i would like to try the Western Food next.

WEEKEND

This week has totally been a hectic week with school and of course my birthday which is yesterday.

Since I'm already in my second year of college, i think I'm gonna start updating my blog on every Friday after a week of schooling. If i'm not lazy, i will update on the weekends too. This is because i just wanna share with you guys what i'm up to since i only have 17 weeks left of schooling/studying before i go for my Industrial Attachment Programme. (I seriously can't wait to get out of the school already) 

1. Too far from home. I know its only at the western side of Singapore but the travelling distance is such a killer because i have to travel using the public transport.

2. The environment is just a...no-no.

3.I DON'T HAVE MY BEST FRIEND WITH ME!

I'm just hoping that the 17 weeks will pass by quickly because i seriously just can't stand any longer. No words can describe how bad i want this to end because i really just can't take it anymore, like seriously you have to understand me. 

But i gotta stay strong for now and continue schooling and after 17 weeks, i'll leave that place for attachment and by the end of the year, I WILL BE DONE WITH COLLEGE LIFE.

Can't wait to say that i'm done with college!

18TH BIRTHDAY

Happy Birthday to myself! Today, on this very day, January 18th, i can officially say i'm LEGAL 18!!!!! Woooo~ like FINALLY.

(Been waiting for this) 

Today really turned out to be a good day with my girls. Thanks to them for making a suprise for me on my 18th birthday. 

It all started from Scape, Orchard all the way to Esplanade Rooftop. I was blindfolded from City Hall mrt all the way to Esplanade. They suprised me with Chewy Juniors and lots of presents! Rynne got me a HUGE Justin Bieber poster and this is honestly my biggest and largest poster so far! Nabilah got me a pair of socks, El gave me some accesories and Emy gave me a balloon. But my favourite will have to be the poster though. I came home to a gift from my mum and my best friend (who delivered it personally to my home, thanks babe!) and a birthday cake from my uncle and his family :) *blessed* 

Totally love all those presents! Definitely had a great 18th birthday celebration today and i'm glad that all these little suprises makes me happy and i totally appreciate all of this and i'm thankful for getting all the presents and thankful to Him for letting me live 18 years old so far. Thank you. Once again, thank you to all those of you who celebrated with me. Each and everyone of you. I just can't stop saying thank you cause i'm really THANKFUL. Omg.

PRE-BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

Today, i celebrated my Pre-Birthday Celebration with my cousin, Dancing Fairy Queen. Since my birthday falls on a Saturday (which is tomorrow) she decided to meet and celebrate it in advance.

I was told to meet her at Orchard Mrt Station @ 2:45pm. While i was making my way there, i received a text from her saying that i have to complete some task/challenge. In order for me to get my birthday present, i have to complete all the task that is given. 

First Task/Challenge: Find anyone at Orchard Mrt Station who is going to top up their Ez-Link card and volunteer to pay $10 for them to top up their card. After topping up, i had to get them to take a picture with me and all i have to do is tag it on Instagram using the hashtag "MyVerySweet18" and so i did. I found a Pinoy lady that was kind enough to let me top up and took picture with her. 

                         

Second Task/Challenge: Proceed to Wisma Atria Basement 1 to find a flower shop and get myself a "Happy Birthday" balloon and take a selfie with it. Sadly, there is no florist available. My cousin told me to run up to ION Level 4 and find another florist but..there is no longer a flower shop available in ION. (ION is really big ok and i'm running with heels, everyone looked at me and even asked me if i'm shooting some video or something. Lol :p) 

I finally found a flower shop @ Far East Plaza and i got myself a Sunflower and here's the selfie of me and sunflower. 

                          

Third Task/Challenge: Get any group to sing for me a birthday song and upload it on Instagram. Thanks to the 3 girls who sang for me a Birthday song. Couldn't upload it though. 

Last Task/Challenge: Get to Royal Plaza on Scotts and meet my cousin there. I finally met up with her and she waited for me at Carousel. 

Had my very first high-tea there and the staff there was so nice they sang a birthday song to all celebrating it. I was not the only one :) 

After a delicious meal, she finally gave me my present :) i am supposed to do a last task which is to upload a video on "What am i going to change to myself." Unfortunately, my phone ran out of memory so i will have to find a time to do it. But...here's the present that i got! 

Today was great and it is great suprise! I can't wait for tomorrow though! Birthday celebration with my friends!

SCHOOL WEEK 1

First week of school was.......unpleasant. On the first day of school, everything between my friends and i just have to screw up and it's all because of one thing. GROUPING INTO A PROJECT. I don't know what really has happened but i just hate it.

Things are just screwed up right now and i just wish i could disappear and blend in the crowd as much as i can. Not sure what i've done to be  treated this way. Someone told me to realize it before its too late, lol, i think you don't have to teach me what to do.

Resolutions For 2014

                                       
Its the start of a new beginning, again. A journey that is waiting for us to experience. We still have 364 days to go before the New Year comes again, haha. 

It has come to my attention that many people around the world has their own new year resolutions every single year. To be honest, i've never had a new year's resolution before. I've always wanted one but...i am not confident enough to do so, haha. I have my own list of the things i want to do before i die (something like that) its like a bucket list but i only managed to strike off only a few so far...No worries, let's hope i get to strike more this year and in future! 

This year, i just want to have more fun, smile all the time, get rid of all the fears, insecurities away and of course, i don't wish to cry that much this year. I just wish to spend more time with my family and friends, cherish the time with them while i still can...Getting into a relationship? Not interested at the moment because i am overly attached to Justin Bieber in my fantasy world (:

I came out with some resolutions today and wanted to share it with you guys and see how far i can go to accomplish them one by one. (i don't think i can make it at all) 

2014 RESOLUTIONS - 

1. Be happy, smile more, less crying. 

2. Work Hard, save up for myself to buy clothes, concerts tickets and more.

3. (HIGHLIGHT) SAVE UP AS MUCH AS I CAN FOR MY BANGKOK TRIP END OF THIS YEAR WITH MY GIRLS. 

4. Finish the last lap of college life.

5. Travel the world as much as i can. 

6. Meet more of my idols. 

7. No major hair cut unless i get bored of my hair or it gets damaged. 

8. Spend more time with family/friends.

9. Do more covers and try to work hard in achieving my dreams. 

10. Blog more (: 

I can only come up with 10 at the moment and i don't hope for more. I'm not sure if its possible to accomplish all 10 of them. Let's see okay?

Welcoming 2014

Happy New Year Everyone!!! Its already
2014 here in Singapore and i'm glad that i got to spend my last day of 2013 with my best friend and my family. Initially, i thought of just going out with her to find a job but it dragged all the way till midnight.

                         

                         

There was a Spongebob Squarepants Exhibition going on at the airport for the kids since its their holidays so we got to take some pictures at the photobooth, tried our luck to win the cute prizes and took hell lot of pictures last night! I personally like this masterpiece though. 

                        

MOSCOWWW! It's beautiful, isn't it? I wonder how they build it! Wanted to have our dinner at Fish & Co and only found out that the outlet is no longer available @ Terminal 2. We had no choice so we had Penang Culture for dinner last night. 

My mum actually wanted to go see the fireworks but I told her that is in not a good idea to do so because everywhere in Singapore is packed so its best if we stay at the airport. 

Hanged around at McCafe, had a cup of Hot Chocolate, a slice of Oreo Cheesecake and Cinnamon Melts to countdown to the New Year. We left for home half and hour past midnight because all of us are tired. Yeah, i had a really wonderful time welcoming the year 2014. Though i didn't manage to celebrate it at the Float @ Marina Bay, i'm thankful and glad that i got the chance to celebrate New year (first time) with my best friend. 

2013 has left us. Whatever happens in 2013, stays in 2013. It's a wrap 2013! Now, let's bring it 2014!!! *dances*
